1) Complete the AG's Official Complaint Form (Available online here)
2) Deliver to Sandwich Town Clerk for official receipt Stamp
3) Deliver stamped copy from Town Clerk to offending Committee for Hearing.
Timing:
- Complaint must be filed within 30 days of event
- Board must respond within 14 days
- Complaintant may appeal to AG within 30 days if not satisfied
Note: There are several inconsistencies between between the law, the AG's procedures, and Town Counsel's interpretation -- so this process is likely to be refined in the near future.
