OMG is Canfield telling us he couldn't find a tiny little bit of money to put up a REAL STEM sign in front of the school? Seriously...a paper STEM sign? Oh Oh maybe its just a temporary program afterall and when he moves to Idaho soon, we can just quietly rip it up and burn it....oh my.

The STEM orientation was just a giant pep rally. Parents learned nothing and left angry. Info on schedule rotation. Or new drop off areas. Late starts and computer use. Even a lunch menu would have been helpful. I'm worried I may have to move my 7th grader 1/2 way through school if things don't shape up quickly.

STEM is just 2 grades (7 and 8). You’d think it was an entire school system the way the School Committee and Administration keep harping on it. Parents of children in any other grade should be concerned with the disproportionate money, time and energy spent serving two classes.
I’m still wondering where the $1 million in budget savings mentioned by the School Committee and Administration is coming from this year?
Do you suppose the pool repair included a separate electric meter so that (finally) somebody will know what the direct utility costs are?
Do you suppose the School Committee will return to the Town the unspent utility moneys saved since the pool was closed? How much would that be exactly?

And your window sills? A piece of pressure treated wood covered with plastic. There's a million bucks for 'ya!

Strange then, Anon 4:54, that nobody asked a single question at the welcome night Q&A. A person could be forgiven for concluding that Sandwich parents aren't all that smart, if they had such questions and preferred to "leave angry" rather than ask them when given the express opportunity to do so.
